And that’s it. Back home after a whopping three days.
Angels at Tigers Game 3 Gamethread
his best years of 0.264BA, 16-17 HRs, 51-52 RBIs do not compensate for his routinely making defensive and base running mistakes.
Then, there are the other sub-par years while mistakes are always there
Spot on. His baseball skills are above average, but his baseball IQ is below average. Should have moved on years ago. He’s a good bench piece not worth the big pay raise. I’ll enjoy him while the good lasts
I’m looking on Mountain time now, as I head home.
So…. Koch and Dana are my two biggest disappointments this season. Both get routinely smacked around. I can’t see either being rotation pieces
If Kochanowicz and Dana agree to low salaries, they’ll be pitching for Angels.
The Angels will spend approximately $205M on baseball player salaries in 2025. This season the MLB average team payroll for 2025 is $172M.
If the Rays ($87M) or Kansas City ($135M) had a payroll of $205M, they’d dominate.
The payroll has never been the problem. The problem continues to be the level of talent and production the Angels get for the payroll dollars available.
Which reminds me, Trout is on a pace to drive in 75 so we’re getting something for his salary unlike you know who
So maybe if we has taken K out of the game when it was abundantly clear he wasn’t fooling anyone, then we might possibly have been in this game?
Has Hendricks done enough to be our 5th starter next year? He’s actually been good the past month.
