Too bad for Kingery, not a difficult decision but this guy Perdomo, 6’8″ 265 lbs, 30-year old guy with a history of not throwing strikes and has been haunted by left elbow discomfort…yeah, we need this guy. I’m in Perry.

If everyone’s healthy where does he play? He doesn’t have the experience to play centerfield and NFW he plays over Rengifo, Moncada & Tim Anderson/Kevin Newman especially if Neto’s coming back in a couple of weeks.

I think it comes down to Moncada’s injury . If hes good to go it comes down to J.D. Davis vs Kyren and I’m sure the Angels would rather have JD sit on the bench when the kid can continue to develop at AAA. Remember in his last month playing in AAA band boxes last year KP slashed a horrible .164/.273/.284

No in all honesty AAA is probably the right move, but I can’t help wanting to see him on the big league roster. He has definitely been the highlight of spring training

I would love for the Angels to convert him or even Christian Moore ( or Lugo for that matter although I would be concerned about this) to a centerfielder.

Neither Mickey Moniak nor Jo Adell have done squat to win the starting centerfielder’s job when its basically being handed to anyone who has a pulse

I do think that the leash on both Adel and Moniak has got to be getting short. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them get jettisoned mid year if they can’t hit better.

1,000 at bats has long been considered the make or break mark on MLB hitters to figured it out. Moniak has 856 ABs while Adel has 985 ABs.

The only way Paris Plays if Adell is either released or goes on the IL. Adell has no where to go and he has to play everyday or the Angels have to give up on him. You could put Adell on the IL and see what Paris does the 1st few weeks of the season. I think it’s most likely they play Adell for month and see how Paris is doing in the minors. If they both continue along the same path, you have your answer.

This franchise is so bAd they cant even pick the right time to suck. If they had sucked this horrible 5 years ago, they could have at least got back to back hight draft picks. Now with MLB Draft lottery rules, as a “payee club”, after this season the highest pick can they attain next year is only 10th.

So much for even trying to tank.
