Ohtani will have a sore knee going forward after hitting one that just missed the knee cap.

Arte is absolutely DROOLING at the thought of adding David Fry next season, Ala David Freese.

While I was looking up Freese (104 and 109 OPS + in his Angel seasons) I was surprised to see what Rendon has done for us. I expected lower numbers than Freese, which is true since 2021 but I’d forgotten that Rendon posted a 150 OPS+ in the short 2020 season.

Yup. Bad things happen when you tear and or break…. everything. But he was good when actually healthy.

It is generally a good thing to forget that 2020 season.

I’m sure Fry isn’t reciprocating.

Not a particularly good game if you’re a Mets fan.

I know i’ve been going against the hive mind around here a lot lately, but I think one thing we can all agree on is that ads on helmets suck.

So, Cleveland can take it to the Bronx Bummers.

I am rooting for Cleveland for one of my oldest friends and because I hate the Yankees.

I forgot how exciting playoff baseball can be.

Yes. And how about Naylor’s stretch, pick, and ability to get the foot on first base?

Clase gives up BTB jacks in the 8th to Judge and Stanton: Yankees up by 1. Freak rundown goes south and another run scores: CLE is gonna get swept; we wept.

3-2 count, 2 outs, bottom of the 9th, down 2: double off the top of the wall. Still down 2 runs, with 2 outs: rookie Noel hits a no-doubter 2-run bomb to send it into extras.

This, for me, is October. FUCK the Yank-mees.

As one who grew up in the NYC area I can tell you the Yankees are mega-Dodgers. They are all that the Dodgers are only worse.

That’s right! Can you imagine the Dodgers and their fans if they were worse? If you can’t, then you can’t grasp how awful the Yankees are.

Rooting for the Yankees over the Dodgers would be like saying “I hate those Russians. I hope Hitler takes care of them”

Cleveland with the lead. It seems impossible but wouldn’t it be sweet if Cleveland vest the Skanks and then the Dodgers?
