Carson Fulmer started against Kevin Gausman today. He issued two walks, a single, and a double in the first inning. 3-0 Toronto. I doubt if that was part of the game plan.
In the top of the third inning, Vlad Guerrero Jr. and Spencer Horwitz hit back to back homers to make it 5-0 Blue Jays. The Angels brought in Kenny Rosenberg to pitch the fourth inning. Nobody scored in the fourth. The Angels had four hits so far, but they could not buy a run.
Toronto scored another run in the eighth inning. Willie Calhoun finally hit a homer in the ninth inning to make it a 6-1 victory for the Blue Jays.
