Its interesting to think because our farm is so thin that on another franchise, Neto O’Hoppe Schanuel Joyce and Bachman would all possibly have still been in the minors participating in this game.

I wonder where the farm would rank if all of those guys were getting the longer minor league development track that would be normal if the big league team didn’t need cheaper depth.

Great point. In answer to your question I think the Angels farm would probably be ranked in the 22nd-24th range if they were all prospects.

It’s nice to hear some positives as to certain prospects. Hopefully, they can continue improving and help the MLB team sooner rather than later.

Dana and Rada look legit. Flores will be good. Lugo (just signed) will be solid. Those 4 should be all good prospects and impact the club in ‘26-30

After that, there’s not a lot.

Minnaci , Hurtado and Jones have futures as Big League relievers.. it looks like someone needs to help Denzer make the next step before he becomes Arol Vera.

I’m over Paris and Kochanowicz … holdovers from Eppler’s horrendous regime.

Pitching wise, Kent will need to develop. I’m hoping they draft and sign Brody Brecht. I’m of the opinion the Angels should find a way to salvage Sandoval by trading him and maybe Canning to a pitcher-desperate orgs for a power hitting OF prospects. You could replace those two with Lorenzen and maybe Daniel or Plesac if he figured it out. They need power in the farm system.

Just all-out humiliation for Kochanowicz. Seven hits, five runs, all very much earned, all to lefty batters. Then Seig comes in and Ks the Dodgers #1 prospect on four pitches.

Dana and Rada looking excellent, but the depth and power of the Dodgers farm in evidence here. Kochanowicz badly rattled.

Koch just doesn’t have many good answers for lefty batters.

At least the Angels have some legit young guys in Rada, Dana and Flores. But you can see most of the lineup is otherwise exposed by good-not-exceptional pitching. 6Ks in three IP.

I like Perry was not soley fixated on college arms last year and selected Dana and Kent.
