Maybe they’ll award ownership of the Angels to Skaggs.
I OBJECT! I AM FILING A WRIT OF HABIUS CORPUS! I AM GOING TO PUT THE SYSTEM ON TRIAL! FACADS WILL CRACK NEETH THE TEARS OF THE POOR AND DOWNTRODDEN! WE’RE NOT GONNA TAKE IT ANYMORE!
Did I win?
The final Minute Order for this hearing is the same as the tentative ruling. I guess the attorneys who specially appeared for the Angels and for Tim Mead didn’t bother to argue about who pays (like “Whatever. Arte can afford the $485.00.”).
Partially wrong. Since the motion is based on the Angels’ residency, Carli Skaggs is required to pay the transfer fees.
Looks like itโs OC bound.
The Los Angeles Angels Lawsuit Of Orange County.
The motion to disqualify mentioned near the end is a motion by the Angels to disqualify attorney(s) working for Carli Skaggs from the case. She has about seven attorneys according to the court website.
She has 7 attorneys? And The Angels want to disqualify one or more of them? This is going to take time to wind through the system.
Some or all of them are apparently not admitted in California. They got into the case on special court permission called “pro hac vice.” I figure they are probably from Texas.
Interesting. Thanks for the insight. What a mess though. ๐
