Personally, this is one of the most anticipated games of the season. After a nice long layover (during which we were only sated with Ohtani All-Star Game highlights), the Angels return for the second half of the season, hoping to make a charge in the standings. No, Mike Trout, Justin Upton, and Anthony Rendon are still out of the lineup, but Adam Eaton is in, meaning at least one of the corner outfield spots will be manned by a Major League outfielder. We will also get the opportunity to hear Rich Waltz on the call and see if we would be able to accept him as perhaps the new full-time guy.
Mariners Lineup: Crawford 6, Haniger 9, France 3, Seager 5, Torrens DH, Fraley 7, Raleigh 2, Kelenic 8, Moore 4. Flexen 1.
Angels Lineup: Fletcher 4, Ohtani DH, Walsh 3, Gosselin 7, Stassi 2, Iglesias 6, Eaton 9, Lagares 8, Mayfield 5. Heaney 1.
Another day, another soul-crushing loss.
Damn, they were scrapping for a win there. You know if you could count on Heaney not to suck at regular intervals, this would have been a big W.
Or that Bundy HR
We needed Trout in that situation. Close game now lets win the next two.
Moral victory if you believe in those.
Nope. It still goes in the “L” column.
Losers do
Shows we got Fight in Us!
Nope.
Bottom line ; W or L.
Sure do. Let’s kick some Mariner ass mañana
Goodnight , but whatta Game.
Good comeback, fell short, tomorrow.
Nice try lads
Ran out of good hitters.
Lets goooooo Gosselin.
Fletch gotta hit, Shohei gotta hit, Walsh gotta hit, now the Goose is in line next.
C’mon Philly G!
Ohtani should have stolen. Game would be tied.
Almost got to the wall, close.
Another tough Mariner bullpen guy. #Envious
Could come down to Goose.
Sewald no homers given up in 25 frames
This is the type of win we need
Can you imagine?
I called this, it’s Hollywood. Now Walsh wins it.
Rez?
Hope you are right! That was a good battle.
Do your thing Walshy!!!

Discussion with Madden about stealing undoubtedly.
