Man! Talk about OBLITERATING a record: most HRs in a season by a Japanese-born player: 32, Shohei Ohtani, and the season’s only slightly more than half over!
Let’s hope after this season, no one cares about the category of “Japanese born”, because Ohtani will have 56 or some insane number like that.
From June 12th against D-Backs, Fletch has gone from .255 to .298.
This is the guy I always thought he was. Earlier this year he was hitting scorching liners right at guys. Now, they’re falling in. And man! can he hit to the opposite field!
The Suarez start was a real bummer. But I’m definitely on the same page with you here. I used to hope Canning and Heaney would jump to another level and be consistent, 6+ innings, ERA around 3.2, 9-10 Ks per game.

Love the Fletch!
2 games over .500 is an accomplishment with all these injuries
Great series win, without Trout, Rendon, Upton.
About to have Trout added. That is exciting
Fletcher
Ohtani
Trout
Walsh
Rendon
Upton
That’s a 1-6 Murderer’s Row. If only we had pitching!
And The way Stassi hit last night?, Better make it the magnificent seven.
Yea, it’s getting to the point where I see Suzuki in the lineup and feel a tad let-down.
Not that Iggy is magnificent, not bad either often enough. So that’s 7+1.
Need a capable RF’er, preferably one that can catch the ball.
I guess what we’re all tryna say: if we had PITCHING, we’d be at least as good as the Trashcans.
Sandy, Suarez need to be consistent, 5+ keep us in ballgames, that will go a long way.

Agree. Stassi is no joke !
What’s the story with Cishek? Is he getting lucky? Because he’s suddenly looked pretty good the last 10 days or so.
Some of it is luck for sure. But when you lead the league in inherited runners that have scored by a long shot, that ain’t just a bad voodoo hex.
They just took 2 out of 3 from Boston while missing Trout, Tendon, and Upton. Damn proud of this team.
Me too for sure!!
No replay needed to confirm???????? (Mucking chowderhead cheaters)
Manicure (nails?
We played well this series. They are pulling me back in.
We could have swept them. Fell a little short on Monday from some tough luck.
Yeah, the Sox had to make big plays to win and I liked that we were aggressive even though it did not work out.
That’ll teach them not to be mean to Shohei
Agree. But that does not surprise me with those A-holes !!!
Light that Baby up as the Big A lights up the Western skies tonight. 2 ova .500
That is AWES
YESSSSH!
We take 2 of 3 from the team with the best record in the AL!
I’m starting to believe!
DURACELL!!!!!!
Nice. Too close, but the result was adequate.
Playoff teams win these close games. We can make it!
Hahaha
Win!!!!!
Win. The. Series. Repeat!
LTBU!
Wow, the fact that we are 2 games over 500 with this patchwork lineup and over 5 ERA says something. Not sure what though.
We have a chance! I didn’t think I would see this day. We have to sweep Seattle though. This series will decide our fate.
This Seattle series coming up is HUGE.
It might as well be a playoff series .
Win the series….that’s the key to me. 2 of 3
Agree. Got to win 2 out of 3.
winner, winner, baked bean, dinner!!!!!!!
