Jo Adell is day to day with a knee contusion. The Angels lost yesterday, but Shohei Ohtani had another monster day with the bat. Jo Adell’s knee contusion did not prevent him from hitting a homer. Felix Pena was injured. The LA Times summarizes Ohtani and Trout’s spring training while discussing the competitions for those last bench spots. Dylan Bundy will be our opening day starter. Happy belated birthday to Max Stassi. It appears folks still have more confidence in the Astros or Athletics winning the American League West, but nevertheless the Angels are polling a rather competitive third place in this poll.

Danny Santana must have blew out his flip flop and stepped on a pop top. Sonny Gray is having back spasms and will likely miss a few games at the start of the season. Rangers prospect Bayron Lora has been released from the hospital in the Dominican Republic after a car accident that killed one of his passengers and seriously injured Lora himself. Former MLB pitcher Frankie De La Cruz passed away at the age of 37 from a heart attack. MLB is conducting a bracketed poll for best MLB fan base. The Angels have been seeded fourth.
Junior Guerra makes the team. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2021/03/angels-select-junior-guerra-option-brandon-marsh.html He probably had an opt out coming up in his minor league deal that he could have exercised if the Angels didn’t add him to the 40 man.
Interesting link between PTP and the RFK Assassination
Very interesting article. Not sure why Tommy Lasagna was hanging out at the Ambassador back in the 60’s . Up to that point he had managed in Pocatello, Idaho & Ogden, UT. Maybe he was amassing his hotel points when he was in town visiting Campanis.
The Ambassador was a happening place for many decades. I was there myself a lot in the late Seventies/early Eighties. There was a British store there, and I did a lot of browsing of their record section. Got a few Beatles LPs there.
Two of my brothers were at the Ambassador that night, attending a rally for Max Rafferty, the Republican nominee for Superintendent of Public Education. They were walking by the kitchen when Sirhan shot. They heard the shot.
Solid Jimmy Buffet reference.
So we should beat the White Sox’ fan base but we are dead meat against the Cubs’.
So much hinges on the bullpen. I’ve read the Rule V kid looked good yesterday. Pena going down could suck as hamstrings tend to linger if you don’t shit completely down.
I can think of a lot of problems that come up if you don’t shit completely down 😂
The fact auto correct left that as shit probably isn’t a good sign ha ha.
Not shitting may generate even bigger problems for Pena.
JAR did well. He came in and threw strikes . He got 2 quick pop ups and then struck out the last batter looking on what I think was a 3-2 fastball on the outside part of the plate (a unhittable pitch for a LHB) that the batter, NRI Nicky Delmonico questioned the call.
I noticed that CRod is slated to pitch again today. Do you think the Angels are considering him for a ML bullpen spot to open the season?
Seeded fourth in their quadrant. That ranks them somewhere between 13th and 16th.
Higher than I expected but par for the course when you put it that way.
I hate the white sox announcers.
Sorry.
i hope i have the balls to tell my crush i like him tonight
Well you know they deadened the balls this year, right?
