LA Angels Tuesday News Crash- 162 or Bust

Yesterday I linked an article that said MLB wants to play a 162 game season.  Today I link an article that says that is not likely to happen.  We’ve heard this song before.  Next comes the grappling over pro-rated salaries and service time.  162 or Bust.

Thanks Howie for such an amazing baseball. The Nationals 2019 postseason will be one for the books- & you were a big part of it.

Rather of not you make it the Baseball Hall of Fame, you left behind a great baseball career. Enjoy your retirement.

Howie never did win that batting title, but he won our hearts. Enjoy your family Howie! You had a career to be proud of and you’re still young!

Speaking of teams hiring, the Padres are seeking a VP of Marketing.

A headhunter called me last week asking if I would be interested.

Tony La Russa getting only a day of home detention makes me sick to my stomach. He already pleaded guilty to DUI in 2007. He should be in jail for a long time. Just last week a husband and wife were driving with their 3 daughters in the back seat in Orange County and a drunk driver hit them and killed both parents. That driver also had a previous DUI conviction.

That woman is going to face 30 years in jail. Tony gets 1 day at home and a 1300 fine? He did the exact same thing. I don’t understand at all how our society is so easy on drunk drivers that can kill people unless they actually kill someone when they’ve already had a conviction. It makes literally no sense. Tony should be in jail for a LONG time IMO.

They start at 162 with full capacity, and then widdle it down blaming something, and collect for the 162, like nothing ever happened.

Whatever happens happens

A day off at home? During ta pandemic? Shouldn’t he be at home? Anyway? Next the MLB punishment.(“We feel that Tony has suffered enough … a whole day … ManBearFred”

If not for Aoki’s ‘miracle’ catch in 2014, it would have been 3 hits and maybe a ring that year too.

As a reminder. I still can’t believe Aoki caught that ball. His face was turned away and he stuck out his glove while hitting the wall.
