Minor League Baseball is now a branch of Major League Baseball helping to create the Major League monolith that Rob Manfred is trying to build. Dick Williams resigned as President of Baseball operations for the Cincinnati Reds.
62% of the runs in the Division Series have come via the home run. Ronald Acuna Jr. is unrepentant about his home runs and bat flips. He has an explanation, though, for why he keeps getting hit. Meanwhile pitcher Sandy Alcantara is ready and willing to fight Ronald Acuna Jr. It’s just a game people.
Zack Greinke has arm soreness but apparently no structural damage. No one seems to know why Jayce Tingler was ejected from Game 1 of Padres vs. Dodgers the other night. Oakland won on Wednesday 9-7 to stay alive in their Division Series.
Sorry! I couldn’t really find any Angels news for today.

Assuming we got this far, could you imagine what our pitching staff would look like trying to play 5 playoff games in a row? Probably better for our bullpen’s long term health that we missed out on this years playoffs.
Not directly Angels related, but since we might be in the market for a SS this winter we should check out Ha-Seong Kim, who’s going to be posted by his KBO team. Only 25 and has some great numbers in the world’s #3 league.
Edit: Found a good video compilation on him here, including some fielding. Small sample size, but the glove looks good and it seems like he digs the low ball at the plate.
QO is 18.9, hard to imagine we give that to Simba
I would like him back at 3/30, if he would take that.
I assume Tingler was tossed because of string of profanity unleashed at Barrett. 🤷🏼♂️
Apparently Rev no longer holds the title of “Worst Person in the World”.

[Disclaimer: I neither endorse nor condemn Olbermann’s statements. Just thought it was … amusing … after what he did to Rev]
If it makes Rev feel better, we’ll always think of him as the Worst Person in the World.
I hope this doesn’t mean he has to return the trophy and sash, though.
Atlanta, Tampa Bay, and the Dodgers all won their respective games last night after I submitted my links draft.
It’s elimination day.
Nothing to exciting about the Angels anyway. Maybe Arte tells the media that he is willing to stay out of things, yea I know lots of laughs. Maybe Capino says that for the sake of the team he is stepping down as he really doesn’t do anything anyway, hmmm, nah. Or the Angels PR Dept. announces that they have signed a free agent second baseman to play in Salt lake City. No that won’t work cause we already have those guys signed in Anaheim. You’re right no Angels news today, Ok keep moving, nothing to see here. have fun today everyone.
