Maybe someone can leak all the proposals and the public can decide which one is feasible. Lord knows Manfred can’t. In this proposal, the Angels would be in the West, but the Padres and Rangers are in the Northwest. I mean, who comes up with this stuff?
the “West” and “Northwest” refer, I’m guessing, to the actual locations of the teams’ facilities in Arizona. It could be argued that the Dodgers or White Sox belong in the Northwest more than the Brewers.

I think the rationale was that they could only put ONE more team in the NW after the teams from Surprise and Peoria. If the Doyers and ChiSox were there, then they’d have 6 teams in the NW and only 4 in the West.

I’m all in. I want the 2020 season to be as bizarre as possible at this point.
I would feel confident in that division. May actually make the playoffs.
In a shortened season, I’m certain MLB would expand playoffs to 14 teams to make up revenues.
