Angels Clobbered by Mariners

The Angels vs the Mariners. Flying type vs Water type. No advantage against each other… usually. Too bad the Angels are bad this year. Like, really bad. Over 50 losses before 40 wins bad. Which is why the team is throwing rookies at the wall and see what sticks. Today, the thing was Jack Kochanowicz, and he did not stick. He went only 3 innings, giving up 5 runs (4 earned) on 7 hits, striking out 1 and walking none. That’s bad.

At least he had 1k?

Then Kenny came in for relief. Well, “relief”. He was even worse somehow. In 6 innings he gave up 6 runs on 8 hits, striking out out 4 and walking 3. That is 2 bad pitchers and frankly, it would take a miracle to not be blown out at this point.

As for the offense… that was, uh, also bad. To be faiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiir… it was against Castillo. He is good at the pitching thing. But, that also meant that the Angels were doomed and this one was not going to be close. At all. Like, one of the worst losses of the season bad. Which is sad that I said one of the and not THE worst since I am unsure if it is the worst. But, was there anything to be salvaged in this game?

Well, the defense had some highlights. Yeah. So, here are those.

The Few Angels Highlights

Like this outfield assist by M-I-C-K-E-Y

Yay~

And this cool catch also by M-I-C-K-E-Y

Great catch!

Taylor Ward also can catch.

Trade value goes up!

And that is… about it…

Upcoming

Only 3 more games left before the All Star Break. Stay strong, please. And watch the draft! That should be good… right? Happy 7/11 day! Hope you got your slurpie!

Thursday before the draft. I’ll skip the all-star game. I’ll only pay attention to seeing who Perry selects

I’m still praying for next year’s draft, so watching still has meaning and loses don’t matter and won’t hurt.

Did we really draft all pitchers one time, so happy that the scouts got that right. Wait, huh, what scouting staff, they were all gone by then and replaced by dice rolling, that’s it, a big gamble. Jeez 😙

I apologize for once posting Jedi was a bad GM for walking at mid-season on the team, he has belief more in himself than in Arte. He knows what is going on like Trader Jack.

The only game I’ve been to this year. Got seats for almost nothing. Here is the fun fact… We were there to support JP Crawford because his family goes to our church and my son plays for his father. JP kept throwing all the in between inning balls to us the whole game. He also told all of his buddies easy money before the game. Come to find out his hommies had JP +1.5 bases for the game and JP hits a double to lead off the game. Fun times.
This team sucks ….

Still need to pass the A’s to get better odds at #1 :wpds_idea:

Oakland is ineligible for the first pick, as are the White Sox. The two teams with better odds than us are Miami and Colorado

Who’s our George Teague? My vote is Free Willie, or Rosenrotten.
