Rather Dull Game Postgame

This was a Griffin Canning start. He gave up an early homer to Oscar Colas but nothing else in his three innings of work. The Angels bats were missing in action.

In the fifth inning Ben Joyce got two outs and then loaded up the bases with two walks and a hit. Fortunately, he got out of the jam without further scoring.

In the top of the seventh inning Jeremiah Jackson hit a double to left. Keynan Middleton helped the Angels cause by screwing up a pickoff play resulting in Jackson at third with one out. Jordyn Adams singled to drive him in. 1-1 tie.

That’s how it ended. Participation ribbons all around! Who’s ready for pizza?

We’re doomed. Wait, we’ll win it all. This game had no Tucky D, so who cares what happened? Looks like Canning is trying to be a solid pitcher. We all know this is impossible. I won’t be fooled again. That’s not really him pitching out there. Thus far it seems like Hunter Renfroe may be having a better spring than Joc Pederson, but we all know simple math always lies and we needed to get that Joc shoved into our roster. Jouhr Dyne Adam2000 seems to still not suck.

It was pretty Neto. Now he just needs to work on that offense. AAA will be a blast this year with all of the talent.

Interesting to see how both AAA and AA rosters are constructed this year..

Tried watching some of the GB V Canada game. Horrible baseball.

That Joyce was able to clean up his mess and keep his cool says a lot. We’ve seen plenty of pitchers just unravel after a mistake or two.

Good MLB hitters would have crushed that grooved fastball that ended up being a pop fly. That kid is not ready.

Kid has unbelievable talent. To my eye he’s a year or two away. Just too wild at this point. He actually threw a fastball behind a batter. It would have hit the bull in Bull Durham.
