The ejection of Antoan Richardson after Steven Duggar stole a base with the score 10-1 was apparently due to his reaction to something Mike Shildt said. Richardson says the statement “reeked undertones of racism.” The two have cleared the air and appear to have moved on from the incident. Alex Cobb was the beneficiary of all those runs.
