Love seeing one of our starter signings pitching mop up out of the bullpen…

it’s funny because I actually think there was a lot to like about his 2019, even though he regressed from a stellar 2018. this organization, man

I honestly don’t know why I can’t just stop caring and watching games. I get literally nothing out of it other than sadness and anger, aha.

serious question about Rengifo here…a year ago he was looking like a solid player with obp potential etc…and yes, even the intelligent Dodger scouts approved to dump Stripling and Joc for him. There has to be something in him that’s good that other people can see. But he’s barely major leaguer at this point. This is an example of our horrid player development.

The Dodgers would be able to get the best out of him. We are not the Dodgers

that’s what im saying though. They are not taking chances on someone who sucks. There is potential in there supposedly. This is the level of terribleness that is us. Stripling (even though he hasn’t exactly lit it up) and Joc (also not amazing) are not terrible players. Both of them though are major leaguers. Rengifo looks like’s on the verge of being a AAAA player his whole life. That’s a massive disparity

In all fairness to the Angels, I think there’s something in his profile that have scared teams away. Had the trade gone through, the Dodgers would’ve been his fourth organization at age 23.

That said, I think your last point touches on an overarching theme of this org. The ability to develop players has been pretty brutal.

We do not have a coaching staff.

The manager does not have a kid on this team. The coaches were from a team that the manager was involved with, but not the manager. One of them seems to have a nephew in the league, or so they say. Tomorrow night is poker night in the bull pen catchers garage. He has a jukebox in there, but it’s not plugged in, and he couldn’t tell you if it works. Somehow, they got asked to take this team, the manger is a grifter, and the owner is happy that he gave him a FIVE YEAR DEAL.

They want to go home. They live just down the street. Happy things happen there. Here is just sad.

Wonder if the air quality is affecting the team. I’ve heard from a friend that it’s disastrous up there…and three more games in Oakland this weekend

Maybe the smoke coming from our pen, that would gas out our dugout too. Location, location, location. It always matters.
