Oh boy, I’m enjoying Angels pitching. Team may still suck but this rotation is great, only 3 er total in the last 5 starts, I wonder who is going today? Kikuchi? Well, he was an all star last year, surely by being called up it means he is ready to pitch in the majors again. Right?
What do you mean he allowed THAT many runs in SLC? I know the PCL is rough but… Oh no. Kikuchi went 5 innings, giving up 5 runs on 7 hits striking out 4 and walking 1. His slider was flat and so hittable. It was so bad he even gave up a hit to Logan, who, if you remember, is on the Rangers now.
As for the offense, well they still got hits, but runs were hard to get. Clutch hitting was not here this time, until the 8th, because the Angels have to mess up my post game. Not that I mind too much. But still, the runs scored shows that any other SP the Angels had this last week would have made this at least a tied game.

Angels tried in the 9th, but alas couldn’t do it. Yet another loss. But the Angels did win the season series vs the Rangers at 8-5 on the year. It’s something.
