Small nit: Raudi turned 22 last July.
Why he is often tagged with the “late bloomer” epithet. His future projectability will depend a lot on how he performs in the more challenging park environments of A+/AA next season, as he’s roughly the same age as many of last year’s college draftees.

ESPN story tagline: 2025-26 MLB offseason: Best fits for top free agents
Funny, none were picked as good fits with the Angels.
Raudi Rodriguez Is Emerging as a Prospect
21 one year old Raudi Rodriguez has been on a tear recently in the Arizona Fall League. The Los Angeles Angels young prospect has an on base percentage over .500 while posting a 1.227 OPS.
Rodriguez one of the very few players in the Arizona fall league to post an OPS 1.200+. This means he’s shining in a league full of the best prospects in the game.
Rodriguez from 2023-24, played only 41 games in rookie ball. In those 41 games he posted a .274 average with .716 OPS.
Since he got called up to Single A he played a full year of 125 games. During those games he posted 14 home runs, .281 batting average, 38 SBs, with an. 842 OPS. A mix of power and speed he also tallied 21 doubles and an unreal 14 triples in Single A. 63 walks in 125 games is a healthy number, too, but he needs to cut down on his 27% strikeout rate.
During his last season he was named Cal League player of the week five times, Cal League player of the month twice, and was a Cal League postseason all star.
Overall, it’s been a really good year for the young 21-year-old Raudi Rodriguez who should get his chance in AA in 2026. Another year like this one and he’ll be on the threshold of the MLB club.
