Let me introduce myself…

Hello, CTPG family! I’m excited to be the newest writer here at the best Angels fan site on the ‘Net. My name is Will, but I go by the name Powerhalo on here. I am married with 2 daughters aged 7 and 9. I am a Speech Therapy Assistant, having nearly finished my Master’s Degree in order to be a Speech-Language Pathologist. I currently live in the Southwest Inland Empire where I have lived most of my life with a couple of multiple-year stints in OC and 1 and a half years in the Dallas, Texas area. I have essentially been a diehard Angels fan from birth, spending my early years living in Orange. Some of my earliest memories are going to games as a 3-year-old in the fateful year of 1986 at the height of Wally World, hearing the crowd chant “Wally! Wally!” Wally Joyner was and still is my favorite player of all time.

I didn’t really get into baseball as a passion until 1993 when I started requesting my parents to take me to games all the time. I probably went to the most games in 1995 and the Angels won most of those games, but we all know how that season turned out. 2002 was obviously heaven for all of us. While the last decade plus has been quite numbing outside of the spectacle of having Trout and Ohtani, my passion for the Halos has never faded.

I was previously a frequent poster as a teenager on the ancient AOL Angels message board and met some great fans then, but we lost contact after AOL petered out. Since then I have been mostly a lurker on Halos Heaven, then here at CTPG, only posting occasional replies. I enjoy watching all of you interact and discuss the game and I am excited to be a more active member of the community moving forward.
