Shohei wins unanimously. Fittingly. We will all remember this season and one for the ages. Now if we can put together a pitching staff for next year!
If Trout’s calf muscle didn’t crap out on him, he would be in that title image instead of Semien. Years ago when I watched the Mariners at the Big A, I noticed that when Ichiro was playing in right field, he would do a series of stretching exercises after every pitch. I always thought that was really smart.
I wonder if Trout’s bizarre calf injury had anything to do with his bulky size. I only follow baseball, so I don’t know — do football players pull muscles all the time?
